Strategy planning through setting goals with objectives, use of the balanced scorecard, vision/mission statement generation, and utilizing analysis tools such as the P.E.S.T.L.E. and S.W.O.T. Using the eight quality management tools for capacity and the related internal and external plans to follow as a daily guide.  

This online diploma course provides a detailed overview of the multi-layered realm of entrepreneurship and becoming a successful small business owner on your first attempt. The intense training will also help you discover the personality types and traits of a successful Entrepreneur and how to complete deep research and brainstorm to generate the right innovative ideas to sell your product or service.


ENTREPRENEUR BOOT CAMP “KNOWLEDGE TO FACE ANY ENTREPRENEURIAL CHALLENGE”

  1. Identify and differentiate between the four types of entrepreneurs: Coasting Entrepreneur, Conservative Entrepreneur, Aggressive Entrepreneur, and Innovator/Revolutionary Entrepreneur.
  2. Identify the strengths and weaknesses of the Entrepreneur (ESTP) personality type in the context of entrepreneurship.
  3. Understand the significance of individual traits, characteristics, and skills in entrepreneurial success.
  4. Identify and evaluate their own entrepreneurial traits, including leadership abilities, honesty, optimism, learning from failure, passion, focus, discipline, proactiveness, open-mindedness, competitiveness, professionalism, and health consciousness.
  5. Understand the importance of conducting thorough research to gather valuable information and insights related to their business ventures.
  6. Explore different research tools and platforms, such as search engines, online directories, industry-specific resources, and libraries, to gather relevant data and information.
  7. Apply brainstorming techniques: Students will learn and practice the three-step process of brainstorming, which includes generating a large quantity of ideas, discussing and evaluating the proposed ideas, and selecting ideas to be implemented and monetized. They will be able to apply these techniques effectively in both individual and team settings.
  8. Define and articulate the key elements of a strategic plan, including vision, mission, and strategy.
  9. Understand the importance of setting goals in making business decisions and measuring progress.
  10. Define business in terms of your vision, philosophy, values, and goals for meeting specific customer needs. The customer is key here, as, without customers, you don’t have a business.
  11. Assess internal value capabilities, resourcefulness, and weaknesses: A SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) is a valuable tool for evaluating internal factors. It helps identify the organization's strengths and weaknesses, address areas of improvement, minimize risks, and take advantage of opportunities for success.
  12. Identify strategic alternatives in terms of long-term objectives and grand strategies: Strategic alternatives are developed to set the direction in which the human and material resources of a business will be applied to achieve selected goals. These alternatives help determine the mission, goals, and objectives of the business and the means of achieving them. It is important to consider both the endpoints (mission, goals, objectives) and the means (policies and plans) in the strategic process. Strategy formulation involves determining the purpose or mission and long-term objectives and adopting courses of action and resource allocation necessary to achieve those aims.
  13. Select from identified strategic alternatives: After identifying strategic alternatives, it is crucial to select the most suitable ones for implementation. This involves considering various factors such as market conditions, organizational capabilities, resources, and competitive advantage. The selected alternatives should align with the overall strategic direction of the business.
  14. Define and differentiate between various funding stages, including pre-seed, seed, series A, series B, series C, and mezzanine.
  15. The lesson on Venture Capitalists provides learners with valuable information on how to prepare for a meeting with a venture capitalist. It emphasizes the importance of conducting a thorough self-assessment of one's company and highlights the key components required in a business plan and executive summary.
  16. Develop a concise and logical business plan that effectively communicates the necessary information to potential investors.
  17. Craft a compelling elevator speech that clearly conveys the concept and idea of their business, emphasizing its unique value proposition.
